The main purpose at Waterloo is to prepare disadvantaged individuals for the work place so they can go on to paid jobs and live more independent and rewarding lives. At Waterloo we help people realise their abilities. We do not focus on their disabilities.
Our learning disabled clients are one big happy family. Not only do they learn woodworking and DIY skills but they also get training in literacy, numeracy, IT skills, Health & Safety, Safe Lifting and much more. Social skills, team working, communications and confidence are all improved.
